These hardships and challenges have forced him to challenge his determination and strength to pull him through every day.

Despite the challenges he faced, Zion didn’t let anything hold him back from pursuing his dreams. He started wrestling in high school and went on to compete in both wrestling and wheelchair racing events at Kent State University.

His ambitions didn’t stop there however, Zion also made his professional mixed martial arts debut in December 2022, impressively winning at the Gladiator Challenge: Seasons Beatings event. He spent several years in the Ohio foster care system, but life took a hopeful turn when he was adopted by his foster mother, Kimberly Hawkins, during his senior year of high school. The love and support he received from his adoptive mother helped him find strength and purpose in life.

Zion’s journey to success was not without its dark moments. He candidly shared that he attempted suicide multiple times as a child. He struggled with overwhelming challenges and feeling trapped in a desperate situation. However, he found the courage to rise above these thoughts and circumstances.
