Biography: Larry David is an American comedian best known for creating the sitcom Seinfeld with Jerry Seinfeld. David's own personality was the primary inspiration for the character of George Costanza played by Jason Alexander.

Prior to Seinfeld, David worked odd jobs for a while before joining Saturday Night Live as a writer where he met Julia Louis-Dreyfus, who was to play Elaine on Seinfeld. The pilot of Seinfeld was created by David and Seinfeld under the name 'The Seinfeld Chronicles' for NBC in 1989.

David created a one-hour special titled 'Larry David: Curb Your Enthusiasm' in 1999, which was then spun off in 2000 into a television series starring David on HBO titled Curb Your Enthusiasm.
