According to the Standard, Matiang'i's PA Onyancha paid a visit to the woman on Saturday, September 11, in an effort to find out what she wanted with the Interior CS.
Nyakundi said she wanted to complain about the rise of criminal activities in the area and police laxity over the issue.

Earlier, the woman had refuted claims she had sought Matiang'i for her personal gains further calling out the officers for allegedly assaulting her.
"The police blocked me because I had some information I wanted to share with the CS that would help our people. The area of Bobasi has had issues with the assigned officers, we have asked the commander to replace the officers to no avail. Theft and other forms of robberies have been on the rise while the officers are watching," she said.William Kamket Released on KSh 500k Cash Bail as Gov't Intensifies Security in Laikipia

The mother of two, who is also a graduate in sign language interpretation, said the resident officers had been working cahoots with criminals who terrorise the locals, and that was the message she sought to share with Matiang'i.
While many presumed she pulled the stunt for her personal gains, Christine disputed the claims saying she could easily reach Matiang'i whenever she needed money as he knows him too well.
As reported, the distraught woman was reportedly seeking an audience with the CS, who had just laid a foundation stone at Ibacho Level Four Hospital.
According to a video shared, officers led by Kisii County Commander Francis Kooli swang into action and intercepted the woman who was insisting on having a word with Matiang'i.
She was whisked away after a pull and push between the officers.
