KCSE 2019: Kapsabet Boys High School produces country's best student
- Kapsabet Boys' High School produced the best as well as the third best students in the 2019 KCSE results
- Leading student Tony Wabuko attained a straight A plain with 87.15 points
- The teenager said he hoped to pursue a career in medicine at the university
The country's best brain in the just released Kenya Certificate of Secondary School (KCSE) came from the academic giant Kapsabet Boys' High School in Nandi county.
Tony Buluma Wabuko who was announced the leading national student had a straight A plain with 87.15 points during the function presided over by Education Cabinet Secretary George Magoha.

Perhaps for the teenager, it did not come as a surprise as he was top ten in the Kenya Certificate of Primary Education exams in which he garnered 433 marks to be become eighth nationally.
Tony wished to pursue a career in medicine.
However, the national school which is located within Kapsabet town in Emgwen constituency, came second on the national performance score board with a total 49 straight As.

The national exams kicked off on November 4 to November 27, and according to the Education Ministry, at least 699,745 candidates registered for the 2019 papers.
Out of 699,745, only 125,746 candidates managed C plus and above while 627 students scored grade A.
Candidates can get their 2019 KCSE results by sending their index numbers to the code 20076.
