Swahili news anchor Ahmed Balohas bid goodbye to his fans in an emotional message after he was fired from K24.
The soft spoken presenter thanked everyone who ensured his success at the station where he first worked as a trainee in 2011.

Balo who took to his Instagram page on Thursday, October 31, bid farewell to his audience promising they would meet somewhere else God willing.
“Hakuna kilichokua na mwanzo kikakosa mwisho. Tarehe 30/10/2019 ilikua siku yangu ya mwisho ya safari yangu kama mwanahabari wa K24 TVkufuatia mabadiliko yanayopania 'kuboresha' kampuni hiyo (There is nothing with a beginning that lacks an end. Today Wednesday, October 30, was my final day of journalism career at K24 TV following a restructuring that aims at ‘improving’ the company,” the anchor said.“Shukran kwenu nyote muliofanikisha safari yangu ya miaka 4 katika kituo hicho. Allah akipenda tutaonana kwingine (Thanks all for making my career at K24 a success. God willing we will meet somewhere else. Forever what God plans no one can overturn),” he added.His fans were not left behind as they trooped to his page to wish him all the best in his future endeavors.

It’s darkest before dawn,”Eveylyne Musambi said.“Asante kwa kazi njema,mungu akifunga njia hii hufungua ungine nice time bro (Thank you for the good work, when God closes one door he opens another, nice time brother,” Stephen Sanga said.In a related news story, Mwanaisha Chidzuga, who was Balo’s co-anchor for four years at the station, said she left K24 to focus on her passion, events and catering.
The Swahili anchor was spotted hanging out with her husband a day after leaving her job.
