What is IPPIS?

So, IPPIS (Integrated Personnel Payroll Information System) is one of the Transformation programs of the Nigerian Federal Government. The main purpose of this program is to create a centralized database system for Nigerian Public Service with a special, accurate, and single source of Employee information, which provides integration with another business application.

In other words, it is a department within the Office of the Accountant-General of the Federation. It is accountable for the payment of workers’ wages and salaries right to the Government employee’s bank account with suitable deductions and remittances of third party payments (such as the Pension Fund Administrator, Federal Inland Revenue Service, National Health Insurance Scheme, National Housing Fund, Cooperative Societies, State Boards of Internal Revenue, Association Dues, Trade Unions Dues, and Bank Loans).

IPPIS verification online registration

To complete the IPPIS data capture and online registration verification successfully, you should follow the steps listed below:

1) First, you should visit the official site verification.ippis.gov.ng to log in to your IPPIS account;

2) Then type in your IPPIS Number;

3) Now input your IPPIS Registration Token;

4) After that, enter Captcha Text for the verification, as shown in the picture above;

5) Then click on “Login” to proceed to the next step and take further actions.

Additional Information

If you misplaced or forget your IPPIS Registration Token, don’t panic. You can easily re-generate it again, just follow these steps:

1) First of all, click “Generate Token”;

2) Then enter your IPPIS Number;

3) Then enter your Email Address;

4) Finally, fill in your registered Phone Number and then hit “Generate Token”.

At this stage, you should get a response from the IPPIS website about your Token Status.
